Under the supervision of Project Director or Project Manager, the Patient Liaison travels to assigned hospital(s) to conduct a thorough bedside interview with uninsured hospital patients to begin the process of determining if they qualify for Medical Assistance benefits. The Liaison must possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, record accurate information legibly, follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality, have use of reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
